Para entender melhor o Verb To Be

I am very happy.

You are my friend.

He is my brother.

She is my mother.

It is my pencil.

We are English students.

You are a French teacher.


They are my neighbours.



Affirmative, Interrogative and Negative form of Verb TO BE

Affirmative: You are my grandmother.
Negative: You aren't (are not) my grandmother.
Interrogative: Are you my grandmother?

Affirmative: I am an English student.
Negative: I am not an English student.
Interrogative: Am I an English student?

Affirmative: She is happy.
Negative: She isn't (is not) happy.
Interrogative: Is she happy?
